César R. Romero

Cesar Romero is a Paralegal at Benach Collopy. He works directly with clients and attorneys to prepare petitions, applications and filings in immigration court and federal court.

Cesar comes from a Peruvian immigrant family and grew up in Boston, MA. Cesar has personally and professionally been impacted by the lives of immigrants and continues to work in their advocacy. Cesar received his undergraduate degree in History and Spanish from Centre College in Danville, KY. Following his time at Centre College, Cesar worked as a paralegal at the Law Office of Melanie Shapiro where he worked directly with clients on a variety of immigration related petitions. Cesar later moved to Washington, D.C. to work with CAIR Coalition in the Detained Children’s Program supporting recent arrivals by providing Know Your Rights presentations and conducting individual legal screenings.

In his free time, Cesar enjoys playing tennis and supporting every Boston related sports team.
